Ingredients

  • Snake gourd (finely chopped)200 g · 1 1/2 medium cup
  • Onion (sliced)100 g · 2 small
  • Oil20 g · 4 tsp
  • Nigella seeds (kalonji)2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder2.5 g · 1/2 tsp

Method

  1. 1Heat oil and temper with nigella seeds.
  2. 2Add sliced onion and fry till golden brown.
  3. 3Add the finely chopped snake gourd, turmeric powder and salt. Mix and fry on low flame till cooked and dry.
  4. 4Serve hot with rice or chapati.
