Ingredients

  • Green gram dal20 g · 4 tsp
  • Onion big10 g · 1 tab spoon
  • Mustard seeds1 g · 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds powder1 g · 1/4 tsp
  • Rice bran oil5 g · 1 tsp
  • Water100 g

Method

  1. 1In a pressure cooker, cook the dal and onion till well cooked. Mash the cooked items properly.
  2. 2In a pan, add 1 tsp of oil and mustard seeds to it.
  3. 3Now, add the dal paste, & water to it. Bring the mixture to boil.
  4. 4Finally add lime juice, salt, pepper & jeera powder.
  5. 5Garnish with curry leaves serve hot.

  • A main course dish can be had with chapatti or rice
  • Very high in protein and potassium so beware
  • Balance your fluid intake along with dishes which are in liquid form.
