Green Peas & Corn Soup
Good for all. CKD and Dialysis to manage portion for fluid control. A healthy soup can be taken with rice as a thick broth. Low in sodium, potassium and phosphorus.

Ingredients
- Peas fresh62.5 g · 1/2 cup
- Maize tender sweet60 g · 1/2 cup
- Cream5 g · 1 tsp
- Lemon juice2.5 g · 1 tsp
- Pepper black2 g · 1/2 tsp
Method
- 1Combine the green peas and corn. In 1 cup of hot water cook it on a medium flame for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 2After it is cooled down to room temperature, blend it thoroughly till smooth.
- 3Transfer into a pan and bring it to a boil. Add black pepper to taste and a squeeze of 1/2 a lime.
- 4Serve hot.
