Ingredients
- Lentil dal (Masoor)30 g · 2 tbsp
- Onion big50 g · 1/4 big onion
- Tomato ripe hybrid50 g · 1/2 big
- Cumin seeds2 g · 1/4 tsp
- Chillies green5 g · 1 chilli
- Turmeric powder1 g · 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves5 g · 2 tsp finely chopped
- Groundnut oil5 g · 1 tsp
Method
- 1Rinse the dal well and pressure cook the dal with 1 cup of water, onion and tomatoes.
- 2Cook till dal becomes soft.
- 3In another pan, heat 1tsp oil. Fry cumin, add chopped chilly, and turmeric powder. Add this to cooked dal.
- 4Let it simmer to your liked consistency.
- 5Garnish with coriander leaves.

- • Can exclude tomatoes and add a few drops of lime for a change in flavor. but not much change in potassium levels.
