Ingredients
- Wheat flour (paratha)60 g · 60 g
- Methi leaves (paratha)50 g · 50 g
- Green chilli (paratha)5 g · 1 finely chopped
- Curd (paratha)5 g · 1 tsp
- Egg whites (curry)60 g · 2 boiled
- Onion (curry)50 g · 1 finely chopped
- Red chilli powder (curry)1 g · 1/2 tsp
- Oil5 g · as required
Method
- 1Mix fenugreek leaves with wheat flour.
- 2Add little curd and oil for taste and mix the dough very well.
- 3Knead the dough and fry on the pan with a little oil.
- 4Fry chopped onions in a frying pan; after onions turn golden brown, add egg white and fry them.
- 5Add chillies or red chilli powder and salt to taste.
Notes from the contributor
- • Eggs are good protein. This egg white dish can be eaten with the paratha or even with plain rice.
- • If eaten during main meal, always take a portion of low potassium vegetable or sliced onions and cucumber salad.
- • Phosphorus binders may be taken as advised by doctor/dietician.
