Ingredients
- Rice100 g · 1/2 cup
- Green gram dal50 g · 1/4 cup
- Green Chillies10 g · 2
- Ginger paste10 g · 2
- Curd30 g · Less than 1/4 cup
- Asafoetida5 g · 1 tsp
- Carrot orange (grated)50 g · 1 medium
- Peas fresh30 g · Less than 1/4 cup
Method
- 1Soak rice and dal separately overnight.
- 2Grind them coarse and mix it.
- 3Add yoghurt and allow the mixture to ferment for 6-7 hours.
- 4When it is fermented, add all ingredients except oil.
- 5Mix thoroughly.
- 6Add this batter on oiled plates and steam for 15 min.
- 7Remove from steamer and cool.
- 8Cut into pieces and serve with chutney.
