Peas Tofu Rolls

Ingredients
- Peas fresh100 g · 1/2 cup
- Tofu100 g · 1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder2 g · 1/4 tsp
- Cumin seeds3 g · 1/2 tsp
- Ginger fresh5 g · 1 tsp
- Garlic big clove5 g · 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves5 g · 2 tsp
- Oil10 g · 2 tsp
- Red chillies3 g · 3/4 tsp
Method
- 1Mix all ingredients well. Make cylindrical shape.
- 2In a non-stick pan with a few drops of oil/oil spray.
- 3Roast the cylinders till golden brown from all sides.
- 4You can use this as a filling in a wrap or stuff it in a paratha.
- 5Add mint chutney / French mustard with thinly sliced onions.
- 6If the mixture is too soft, add more crumbs to bind the ingredients. Use low sodium brown bread as a healthy substitute.
Notes from the contributor
- • A high protein snack that may not be suitable for non-dialysis patients as the potassium content is on the higher side.
- • Can substitute 100g of peas with (40g peas + 30g capsicum + 30g onion) to reduce the potassium content of the diet.
