Ingredients
- Pointed Gourd200 g · 9 medium
- Onion100 g · 1 medium
- Mustard Oil45 g · 3 tbsp
- Potato (Boiled)100 g · 1 medium
- Cumin Powder2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
- Green chilly · 2-3 nos
- Turmeric2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
Method
- 1Slit the pointed gourd and take out the seeds and flesh. Discard the seeds.
- 2Heat one tablespoonoil in a pan, fry all the ingredients including the soft flesh till soft cooked
- 3Stuff the fried ingredients into pointed gourd.
- 4Heat the remaining oil and on a low flame shallow fry the stuffed pointed gourd till done on all sides.
- 5Remove and drain excess oil in a tissue.
- 6Serve hot with rice or chapati.
