Rava Ladoo
Good for CKD, dialysis (non-diabetic). If sugar can be replaced by artificial sweetener, even diabetic patients can consume this dish.

Ingredients
- Ghee45 g · 1/4 cup
- Wheat semolina150 g · 1 cup
- Refined sugar granulated180 g · 1 cup
- Milk whole Cow30 g · 2 tablespoon
- Cardamom powder1 g · 1/4 tsp
Method
- 1Roast the rava on a low flame till it changes colour to light brown and turns aromatic.
- 2Cool rava to room temperature.
- 3Prepare sugar syrup with 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Warm the milk.
- 4The syrup must be one string consistency.
- 5Turn off the stove; add roasted rava to sugar syrup.
- 6Add the cardamom powder. Add milk.
- 7Stir continuously to avoid formation of lumps.
- 8Mix well.
- 9When its still warm enough, prepare laddus with your palm.
- 10Serve rava ladoo / suji laddu once cooled completely or store in airtight container for 2 weeks.
