Ingredients
- Pumpkin orange round200 g · 1 CUP
- Gingelly seeds white2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
- Garlic small clove5 g · 1 tsp
- Chillies red powder5 g · 1 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind pulp2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
- Groundnut oil7.5 g · 1 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida1 g · 1/4 tsp
Method
- 1In a pan heat oil, add sesame seeds, after they splutter add fenugreek seeds. Later add asafetida and crushed garlic.
- 2Add the cubes of red pumpkin. Pour 1/2 cup of water. Add the remaining spices and cover and it.
- 3Allow it to cook till the cubes are tender.
- 4Serve hot with rice or chapati.
