Rice Flour Pancake

Ingredients

  • Rice flour400 g · 2 cups
  • Curd100 g · 1/2 cup
  • Onion100 g · 1 big
  • Green chillies10 g · 2
  • Cumin powder5 g · 1 tsp
  • Oil50 g · 1/4 cup
  • Water · as required to prepare a thin batter

Method

  1. 1Finely chop onions and chillies.
  2. 2Add to rice flour. Add other ingredients except oil.
  3. 3Add some water and make a batter without lumps. It should not be too thin or thick.
  4. 4In a griddle / non-stick pan, on a medium heat, pour 1 ladle of batter and spread into a pancake.
  5. 5Edge the pancake with oil. (Need not use oil if making on non-stick pan)
  6. 6Make it even and thin. Cover the pan and flip when brown. Cook both sides.
  7. 7Serve with mint chutney.
