Ingredients
- Rice flour400 g · 2 cups
- Curd100 g · 1/2 cup
- Onion100 g · 1 big
- Green chillies10 g · 2
- Cumin powder5 g · 1 tsp
- Oil50 g · 1/4 cup
- Water · as required to prepare a thin batter
Method
- 1Finely chop onions and chillies.
- 2Add to rice flour. Add other ingredients except oil.
- 3Add some water and make a batter without lumps. It should not be too thin or thick.
- 4In a griddle / non-stick pan, on a medium heat, pour 1 ladle of batter and spread into a pancake.
- 5Edge the pancake with oil. (Need not use oil if making on non-stick pan)
- 6Make it even and thin. Cover the pan and flip when brown. Cook both sides.
- 7Serve with mint chutney.
