Ingredients
- Suji100 g
- Sugar (powdered)60 g · 4 tbsp
- Ghee · 1 tsp (5 ml)
- Cinnamon Powder2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
Method
- 1On a medium flame roast the suji in a deep pan till it gets a fragrance and becomes slightly brown, stirring all the while.
- 2Reduce flame and add the powdered sugar, ghee and cinnamon powder. Mix well.
- 3In a pan put water and bring it to boil. Add about 1 medium cup of moderately hot water and cook to a thick consistency taking care that there are no lumps.
- 4Spread it evenly on a tray to about 1 cm thickness and let it cool.
- 5Cut into diamond shape.
- 6Serve as a snack, in portion suggested
