Ingredients
- Whole wheat bread80 g · 4 slices
- Green cabbage (finely chopped)30 g · 1/4 cup
- Lettuce50 g · 2 big leaves
- Green chillies10 g · 2
- Garlic paste2.5 g · 1/2 tsp
- Pepper black2 g · 1/4 tsp
- Hung curd200 g · 1 cup
Method
- 1Add all the filling ingredients with yogurt except lettuce and mix well.
- 2Spread the mix generously over two slices of bread, place lettuce leaves and cover with other slice.
- 3Grill the sandwich from both sides until golden brown. Sandwiches are ready to serve.
- 4Yogurt sandwiches taste great even at room temperature.

- • Great portable food, loaded with flavor, crunch and health.
- • For non-dialysis patients protein content is high. Can have half portion or reduce hung curd in the spread.
- • Post-transplant patients should avoid lettuce or use sauteed capsicum instead for the crunch.
