Tomato & Onion Sambal

Good for CKD and dialysis, diabetics in suggested portions. A side dish low in sodium, enhances the taste of other dishes, which are cooked using less salt. For post transplant cooking the tomato-onion is recommended.

Ingredients

  • Onion (medium)65 g · 1 no
  • Red Chilli powder0.4 g · 1/4 tsp
  • Mustard oil5 g
  • Tomato ripe hybrid (medium)75 g
  • Coriander leaves5 g · 1 tab spoon

Method

  1. 1In a bowl mix the onion, tomato & coriander together.
  2. 2Heat a frying pan, add oil. When hot, add red chilli powder and salt.
  3. 3Remove from fire and mix in the onion tomato mixture
