Ingredients

  • Turai/lauki, chopped · 2 cups
  • Frozen peas · 3/4th cup
  • Haldi powder · 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder · 1/4 tsp
  • Dania/coriander powder · 1/2 tsp
  • Asafetida · 1/4 tsp
  • Rai · 1/2 tsp
  • Jeera · 1/2 tsp
  • Salt · to taste
  • Oil · 1 tsp

Method

  1. 1In a pan add oil, rai and jeera. After rai splutters add mix of haldi, chilli powder, coriander powder and asafetida.
  2. 2Quickly add chopped vegetables, salt to taste and let it cook with 1 tbsp water. Keep a lid on the pan.
  3. 3When almost cooked add the frozen peas. Cooked this closed for another 5 minutes.
  4. 4Add chopped green coriander/dhania. Serve hot with rotis or rice.
