Ingredients
- Turai/lauki, chopped · 2 cups
- Frozen peas · 3/4th cup
- Haldi powder · 1/4 tsp
- Chilli powder · 1/4 tsp
- Dania/coriander powder · 1/2 tsp
- Asafetida · 1/4 tsp
- Rai · 1/2 tsp
- Jeera · 1/2 tsp
- Salt · to taste
- Oil · 1 tsp
Method
- 1In a pan add oil, rai and jeera. After rai splutters add mix of haldi, chilli powder, coriander powder and asafetida.
- 2Quickly add chopped vegetables, salt to taste and let it cook with 1 tbsp water. Keep a lid on the pan.
- 3When almost cooked add the frozen peas. Cooked this closed for another 5 minutes.
- 4Add chopped green coriander/dhania. Serve hot with rotis or rice.
