Ingredients
- Wheat flour120 g · 1 cup
- Water80 g · to knead dough
- Oil2 g · 1/2 tsp
Method
- 1Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and knead with little water to make a firm dough.
- 2Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a 125 mm (5-6 inch) diameter thick circle.
- 3Heat a non-stick tava, place the bhakri on it and turn it over after a minute.
- 4Cook the other side for another minute or till light brown spots appear on the surface.
- 5Turn onto an open flame and cook on both sides for a few seconds till it puffs up.
- 6Remove and keep aside. Serve hot.
