Ingredients
- Chicken breast, 2'' cubed · 135g
- White onion, chopped · 1 large (110g)
- Tomato paste · 2 tbsp
- Vegetable oil · 1 tbsp
- Garlic, minced · 1 tbsp
- Dried red chilli, deseeded · 6 chillies (4g)
- Salt · 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon stick · 1 stick
Method
- 1Blend onion, garlic and dried chillies together to make a paste.
- 2Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add in the paste, tomato paste and cinnamon stick and cook until fragrant.
- 3Add in 1/4 cup of water along with chicken breast and bring it to a boil.
- 4Continue cooking over low heat for 10 minutes, or until the gravy thickens and the chicken is cooked.
