Ingredients

  • Low fat milk · 1 cup
  • Cake flour · 1 1/4 cup
  • Sugar · 1/4 cup
  • Egg · 1 medium
  • Olive oil · 1 tbsp
  • Black sesame · 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder · 1/2 tsp
  • Salt · 1/4 tsp

Method

  1. 1Preheat the steamer.
  2. 2Stir-fry the sesame in a wok over medium heat until fragrant, and set aside.
  3. 3Mix flour and baking powder in a medium bowl.
  4. 4Whisk egg, sugar and salt in a large bowl until slightly foamy, then stir in milk and olive oil until well combined. Next, fold in the flour mixture and sesame.
  5. 5Fill 2/3 of the muffin cup with batter and steam for 15-20 minutes.
