Ingredients
- Chicken wings · 6 medium (250g)
- Carrot, chunks · 1 medium (60g)
- Low sodium soy sauce · 1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil · 1/2 tbsp
- Ginger, sliced · 3 slices (7g)
- Sesame oil · 1 tsp
- Dark soy sauce · 1 tsp
Method
- 1Marinate chicken wings with low sodium soy sauce, dark soy sauce and sesame oil in a large bowl for 15 minutes.
- 2Heat oil in a wok over medium heat and stir-fry ginger until fragrant.
- 3Add in chicken and carrots, stirring frequently, and cook for 3 minutes.
- 4Pour 1/2 cup of water into the wok and bring it to a boil.
- 5Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, or until the chicken wings are cooked.
