Ingredients
- White rice, uncooked · 1 1/2 cups
- Carrot, small chunks · 4 medium (240g)
- Chicken breast 2'' cubed · 180g
- Vegetable oil · 1 tbsp
- Oyster sauce · 1 tbsp
- Sesame oil · 2 tsp
- Dark soy sauce · 1/2 tsp
- Ginger, grated · 1 tsp
Method
- 1Marinate chicken breast with oyster sauce, dark soy sauce and ginger in a medium bowl for 15 minutes.
- 2Heat oil in a wok over medium heat and add carrots, the marinated chicken breast and the remaining marinade. Cook for 3 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked.
- 3Add the uncooked rice into the wok and mix until well combined.
- 4Transfer the mixture into a rice cooker and add water to a level of 1 inch above the rice. Drizzle the top with sesame oil.
- 5Cook for 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender, for 15 minutes. Fluff the rice with a scoop.
