Ingredients

  • Dory fish · 170g
  • Red onion, sliced · 1 medium (80g)
  • Green chilli, chopped · 3 medium (50g)
  • Vegetable oil · 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds · 1/2 tsp
  • Salt · 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder · 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves · 9 leaves

Method

  1. 1Pre-heat the steamer.
  2. 2Steam the fish until it is cooked and shred it into small pieces.
  3. 3Heat oil in a wok over medium heat and stir-fry onion, green chillies and mustard seeds until the mustard seeds begin to pop.
  4. 4Add curry leaves, turmeric powder and salt and stir-fry constantly until fragrant.
  5. 5Mix in the shredded fish and leave it to cook over low heat for 3 minutes.
